Privacy Policy

We collect as little as the transaction requires, and no more.

This policy explains what personal data LeerHaus collects, why, and what you may do about it. It is written to satisfy the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

The data controller is Prystine Web Solutions Ltd (Company No. 12513859), registered at 23 Barberry Drive, Didcot, OX11 6JY (VAT GB421674703). For any privacy matter, write to [email protected].

What we collect and why

  • Order details — your name, email, billing and delivery address, and what you ordered. We need this to take payment, fulfil your order, and meet our legal obligations. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, and legal obligation for tax records.
  • Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; Stripe handles it as a separate data controller under its own policy.
  • Correspondence — if you email us, we keep the exchange so that we can help you. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
  • Usage statistics — we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first service that sets no cookies and collects no personal data. The figures it produces are anonymous and aggregate; they cannot identify you. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers who help us run the shop — our hosting, our payment processor (Stripe), and the couriers who deliver your order. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for six years to meet HMRC requirements. Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful. Analytics data is anonymous and is not tied to you.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
